It was just funny to me that there was so many ways you could go with that but instead you are telling them you think they could have improved one of their songs. Do you know how fucking smug that is? They would laugh you out of the room. There is a reason they are the Deftones and you aren't. Now, to be fair, I have criticized certain parts in their songs, but I wouldn't say it to their face. That's just kind of disrespectful to me. All of the positive stuff you can say to them about the amazing music they have created, and instead you are nitpicking some little detail. It wasn't about the cursing specifically. And it's not a "They are gods" mentality I have. I realize they are normal people, but fuck, show them a little respect. You keep ranting that we are belittling you, but really I find your queston belittling to Deftones.

They have played Pink Maggit live... the full version, from start to finish... 5.24.00 Petaluma, CA... I was there, Chino smashed his guitar in the middle of the song.  I have a hazy pic of Chino singing the end of the song, its not really any proof, but it was taken while they were playing the song.  It was the last song, they closed with Head Up & Pink Maggit.

I'm sure they wouldn't mind me saying whats on my mind considering they're normal people...I'm sure they'd like it better than if I just sat there and said "omgzzz you guys made the best music EVARRR" like every single other person they meet does. It has nothing to do with disrespect, it's just human interaction. If I wanted to disrespect someone, I'd walk up to them and say you're a stupid fuck and you don't deserve to live. If you really find it that belittling, then I can't help that but I really don't. Pink Maggit sounded damn good, its always been one of my favorite songs.  Chino's guitar was tuned all wrong though, thats why he smashed it... it was during the middle of the song... he was quickly rushed another one.  I have a photo of him singing at the end of it, ill have to dig it out - here's some other pics from that show, I dont know how to post them here so ill just give you a link:

those were awesome shows... they played back to back nights, tickets were only $10... right before White Pony came out, right before summer... it was just an awesome vibe the whole time. 

by the way, that setlist is incorrect.... they did NOT play Rx Queen or Passenger and they DID play To Have and To Hold.
