mix sounds like the best ever and that's exciting in itself.

Ditto to that, sounds like it has been mixed very well, very in your face like ATF.

That and the way the bass is mixed it sounds very Adrenaline.

Yeah I know Ted mastered the album but would be cool to know who mixed the album. I know it wasn't Terry Date as he mixed EROS (I believe) so would be interesting to know who has done Diamond Eyes. Maybe it was someone who has never dealt with the Deftones before...

whomever bitches bout these titles has no fucking imagination. and how is it weird to deftones anyway? rocket skates could also be some avril lavigne or miley cyrus lame disney song... imagine chino moaning these terms over the heavy riffs (like always) and you'll associate it with darker shit.. if thats what youre looking for. dark, angry deftones fans. just die already.

btw, I fucking love the powerful bass in that riff. I miss Chi and wish he was on the album, but still I don't feel the least bit worried that Sergio did a great job! it will be really interesting to hear the rest of his stuff on the album.

I think you have broken ears then .. sounds nothing like HITE.. side by side comparison, HITE is a muddled mess of distortion.

The guitar sound on Rocket Skates is tons more pleasing to the ears.
