he sounds like a whiny little kid who can't have it all, i don't feel the chino vibe.  just a bad day i hope. i would expect an answer like this from him if someone asked him about critisism at messages boards:

"deftones fans are very opiniated. we've been around long and we've tried a lot of different things over the years, so of course not everything we do are gonna be loved by everyone everytime, but that's natural. if different opinions are being discussed at a forum, and if people have ideas what we shold sound like, it's all good, i mean i would guess that they're there in the first place because they dig us in some way.i just see it as dedication. i've been an fan of bands in the same way when i was young  and also didn't love everything those bands put out, but i was still a fan. it would be pretty silly of me to expect that everything i do will be applauded,but it's all good - we're gonna continue to play the music we like regardless"

tell you what, i'd be fucked as shit, too, if i came on a message board and saw my fans talking shit about very stupid shit like my weight and other personal shit. that's why i'm not gonna have a message board for my band and only have my facebook page hahaa... you can only "like" shit on there!!
