I'm from Ohio, but I'm making the trip to see them at the Royal Oak Love Michigan though.

The reason everyone looks confused is because a lame fight broke out in front of Gabriel in that picture. Not sure what happened but some chick started punching the guy in front of her repeatedly, and a bunch of security guys were trying to pull him out of the crowd. Really disappointing that they couldn't keep their composure during such a profound Deftones moment. It was still really awesome though, and Gabriel did great. The crowd went crazy for him, and there was a long and loud ovation after he left the stage; everyone was all smiles, especially Chino.

I wish they'd bring back "Needles and Pins" to their setlist. The enviroment that song creates is incredible. Really to me it encompasses all of the Deftones elements. That's cool they played Riviere, but the full version of Pink Maggot would be even better.

I wish they'd bring back "Needles and Pins" to their setlist. The enviroment that song creates is incredible. Really to me it encompasses all of the Deftones elements. That's cool they played Riviere, but the full version of Pink Maggot would be even better.

Ya dude. They kill it (needles&pins) everytime they play it live. They were playing it quite often in 2010 I think. The boy's republic, combat, riviere, and needles and pins are songs they should regularly include in their shows.

I agree. When I go to deftones shows, I am the dude thats constantly pushing everyone so it tight like a can of sardines. I think its more fun when the pit is real intense and the band feeds off of that too IMO. Thats what drew me to deftones show in the first place, how intense the crowd was. Now it seems like everyone is filming with their Iphones. Lame.

since they are only playing clubs dont expect any pro shots. and a european club tour will most likely be in early 2013 so once again dont expect any pro shots....unless they do a summer festival tour, might be shit out of luck regarding professionally filmed shows for this tour
