I could hug you for that footage  ;D  I was at the show and it was awesome.  Lively crowd almost as if it was karaoke night too.  I've seen the Tones I think 7 or 8 times now and they set the bar so damn high everytime with you walking away saying this was the best one yet.  I been very fortunate to stumble upon a few rare gems on select nights and tonight being another with some "Badtones"  Just fucking awesome!  I have a man crush on ya guys and hope to get my face rocked off again very soon 8)

for some reason, i kind of hate when the crowd sings too much. it's like, i didnt pay to hear you sing, i wanna hear chino.

I guess i'm just boring.

I can cope with singing but the talkers drive me insane

I was at the show last night at Rams Head. It was a good show. The pit was intense as hell, there were girls in there that were getting down. It was cool.

Anyway, about the band, they were phenomenal. Setlist could of been a lot better, but its going to be a cookie cutter setlist from now on. We are just going to have to get used to it i guess.

I must say, bored being played on the 8 string is amazing, the riff just rips right through you. Badass.

I will see them again when they come around.

Funny you mention that about the cookie cutter thing because I literally just had this discussion with someone the other day.  One of the things aside from the music itself I always treasured about the Tones was they always put something different on stage every damn night with a few suprises along the way vs many bands who will play the same show every night on tour.  I totally get that you cannot play everything and please everyone but I guess with a growing catalog we can expect this.  Also they aren't getting any younger and have toned the onstage anticts down a notch depite the music growing and getting stronger.  I doubt it would ever happen but I would love seeing a tour somewhere down the road where instead of promoting new stuff they totally dust off old gems or even go the route of letting fans vote on a setlist.  Wishful thinking but I'll still be there regardless  ;D

I love what they play between Bloody Cape and Bored. Just pure ambient awesomeness.

Agreed.  I dig the sound

Are they using the same intro song they used on the 1st leg of the white pony tour?

I feel like they will debut Swerve City next friday at Mexico City since it's a big festival.

Yeah they played that interlude at Royal Oak too.. Much better than that live interlude they did during the DE tour.. Sounds like a harmonized loop effect coming from Steph and Sergio's guitar processors. Looks pretty sweet live with that dark green light shining down on Steph.
