Lol, yeah. I was thinking he'd go a 6 or a 7. It's cool, though. Not everyone has to be a fan. He can stick with his Death Grips albums (who personally do nothing for me, MC Ride is an awful, perpetually off-beat rapper) and I'll stick with my Deftones albums.

Dude he has such a hard on for them.. I've seriously tried to get into them and just can't. It's just noise to me. He's never liked Deftones.. Who cares what he thinks. I enjoy a lot of his reviews but it seems he's in the minority on this one.

I will say I agree with him with the filter on the screams. That didn't quite work on this one..

I still cannot get over Phantom Bride...best track on the album and one of the best songs crafted by the Deftones ever - especially Chino's vocal melody during the chorus.  To me this song is the logical next single of the album (especially with the Jerry Cantrell spot).

I've only just started listening to other music like an hour ago, and even so, I'm sitting here with my music on shuffle annoyed that nothing from Gore has popped up, haha. Don't know about a score out of 10, but it's third for me, after White Pony and self-titled.
