Just watched Mr. Brooks for the first time and enjoyed it quite a bit.  Good acting and tight story all around.

"coming into the nearness of distance"

theis

yeah i know, it sucked.

goldpony

i thought that chase at the end was spectacular. sure it was a little heavy handed at times, but everything about that movie was terrific imho.

Battle-Axe

I watched [REC] for the first time last night after my boss told me about it a couple months ago. Pretty decent film - at first I thought it was gonna drag on cos the first 7 minutes or so were a bit tiresome but apart from that I loved it. There's a sequel coming out next year too, and an American shot for shot remake comes out this October called Quarantine.

too bad American remakes of any kind of movie completely suck about 97% of the time.
