hey, man, what's up? haven't seen you here for a while

Watched Cannibal Ferox this morning before class (that's how I wake up, blood, tits, and coffee).  Not quite as disturbing as they hype it and not as violent or gory as Cannibal Holocaust, but definitely a nasty flick.  The interview with Lenzi was decent.

I Heart Huckabees is just amazing ;D
made my day!
totally going to my top 15.
I want some more movies like this.

bright lights, big city

I believe Three Kings was done by the same director. I really enjoy both movies, even though Three Kings is in Iraq in the early 90s....nowhere near being the same type of movie as Huckabees

Fucking awesome movie!  Hilarious.

I watched Zombie Diaries today and was quite impressed.  Perfect compliment to Diary of the Dead.  Very realistic (as in reactions, emotions, etc. not the zombie part before some asshole points that out) and intense in some parts.

gotta check this one out then! the acting really lacked in Diary of the Dead...is it any better in this one?

oldgentlovecraft

I hate to say it, Theis, but I don't focus on the acting.  I think the acting was more natural.  It seemed more realistic in this film than Diary of the Dead (I loved that one too, Romero for life!).  It is worth picking up and there are few twists near the end with some decent social commentary.

bright lights, big city

my favorite memory of Diary of the Dead was when they ran into that farmer guy. I blurted out in the theater "Who's this guy? Must be Amish or just plain retarded". Turns out he was deaf. I felt dumb.

That part made me laugh my ass off.  Very unexpected.

watched Everything is Illuminated last night.
more dramatic than I thought it will be. though, good. emotional!

deftonekid

I watched "The Fountain". I liked it, it is so different from Requiem For a Dream, very spiritual.
Glad to see directors like Darren Aronofsky, pushing the envelop.

TheWatcher
