I mean, there was one REALLY funny part that had me bending over.  Besides that... it's not that I was grossed out...it just wasn't that creative.  The gay theme isn't that funny to me anyway, because you know...I don't find gay people funny.  Maybe that was my problem with it.

wither-I

yeah i heard there's alot of dick.

I'm going to see it when I get a chance.  It's not the theme that is funny it's how people react.   I saw The Hangover last night and fucking loved it!  Hilarious.

it can't be that simple, because I loved Borat and only somewhat liked Bruno.

Yeah it was funny to me, but not as funny as I expected. It was just so outrageous at some parts that i just didn't know whether to laugh.

I also just felt uncomfortable because two morons decided it would be a brilliant idea to bring their kids to see it and the kids were right in front of me. WTF!?! The kids were even turning away and covering their eyes during half the movie like they even knew they shouldn't be there.

It's entertaining, but IMO you could wait for DVD.

it definitely was completely outrageous at times, but I still laughed my ass off. I can see how some could think he went too far though. But I thought he caught that same type of twisted/"unscripted"/awkward humor he did with Borat. I was satisfied with it.

I cant believe someone would bring their kids to this though. THAT is completely ridiculous.

^ Yeah it really bothered me. I mean, what kind of rock are you living under when you don't realize that this is completely inappropriate for kids. And when I say kids I'm not talking about maybe 13 or 14, I'm talking 7 or 8 years old. It was terrible.

But yeah, If you enjoyed Borat, this is along the same lines of craziness. I almost dies during the psychic reading from laughing so hard.

I know what you mean about the kids. My daughter is 9 and she tells me how a lot of her friends are allowed to watch rated R movies and even watch them on family nights. i mean she came home one talking about one of her friends who had seen the latest Rambo movie. WTF people!

Yeah it's pretty unbelievable. I mean, when I was little...and I'm talking like 6 years old my parents would let me watch Nightmare on Elm street and Friday the 13th because I just loved scary movies. They were pretty lenient. But Borat and Bruno are on a whole different level. I mean, some parts in Bruno were basically pornographic, and it was more "real" as in documentary style as opposed to fake blood and gore that those old horror movies had. I watched that stuff, but I wouldn't necessarily let my future kids watch it so it's definitely cause for concern.

Haaaaaa...the "oh my goodness" part is sooo true. But why did they go to see it anyway?? LOL. Something like that can definitely ruin the experience.

Saw Harry Potter Sunday, and I have to say it wasn't as good as I hoped. Left me feeling empty. :(

defskull

I saw Moon tonight and it was exactly the kind of sci-fi movie I had been craving.  Without saying too much, I love sci-fi movies in space that involve isolation and paranoia and these were two of many elements of this movie.  I highly recommend it to anyone.  I wasn't too much of a Sam Rockwell fan buthe did a great job in this movie.

Trailer for Zombieland.  Looks like an entertaining dead flick to me, reminded me a little of Shaun of the Dead.
