kids,


I just found this band today.. and I am really enjoying what I hear. even though it's weird when the vocals are with scottish accent.. still. very enjoyable - for fans of Appleseed Cast and generally all shoegaze/sadcore which is a bit more modern. What I mean, basically word shoegaze is associated with bands like MBV and Slowdive. This is not as reverb-ish.. more modern I guess. Still, a very nice band.

most def gonna try it out

* did you ever listen to the band i posted some weeks ago in the postrock/ambient thread called "there will be fireworks"? im not sure yet if theres any resemblance with this one , but they are scottish if that counts Smiley and i freaking adore them!

i saw them live, they were opening for Mogwai.. highly enjoyable!

im listening to the first song right now and i thoroughly love thisss! they remind me alot of there will be fireworks so far, but only on the first song.. do you like them at all??

listening to that right now.. still the autumn/winter album seems so much better to me. I mean this is decent, but THAT is whoa Smiley

to each his own i guess... i kinda like them better, they hit on something with me, the climaxes seem higher in the music.

so new album not so good?

This band is OK.  I still prefer poppier shoegaze like The Pains of Being Pure At Heart compared to this stuff.

I did not mean anything like 'wow look these are on the front row of shoegaze' and you know that. I do prefer the more romantic/mellowy bands too, yet still this is a good find I guess Smiley
