Todd and Gil have finished tracking an EP. Think it's for Todd's solo stuff.

That's awesome! I've been wishing he'd put something out on his own.

Can someone upload again these shows?

thanks

I'd never paid too much attention to the demos of Team Sleep, at least not the whole variety of them. I think the demo of Blvd Nights is beyond beautiful, the final version is kind of downgrade in my opinion, or maybe it's just that different. I think I do prefer the demo in any case

I think the early lo-fi Team Sleep stuff, had it been taken to its conclusion, is the closest Chino's come to making a masterpiece outside of Deftones. I wish he'd try and accomplish that same vision now but I think the moment's probably passed.

Blvd Nights is one of the best songs on the final record imo but I probably prefer that demo version too.

The OG demos are still my favorite Team Sleep material. Cambodia, Solid Gold, and Natalie Portman are just fucking incredible. The break in Cambodia where he softly sings "Come on" might be my favorite Chino moment.

Yeah, and that moment was probably in 2014-2015 when the Woodstock show happened and they were talking up a second album. That really would have been the perfect time but I guess it just never all came together for whatever reason.

I like the Team Sleep album despite the missteps it took. But fuck did they leave some great songs off it.

Death By Plane is the one. Seriously one of the saddest sounding songs ever.

I'll take it.

The Anti Quant EP is up. New renditions of Tennisface and No.

Gorgeous EP. Tennisface has some new guitar at the end that absolutely rules and also nice to finally hear a full version of No. Also really loving the spaciness of the other songs. Will be interesting to see if more old TS demos are reworked and pop up on future releases.

Certainly, it's not bad, of course, I prefer the original. I think it's more badass. Since there are no updates from TS, it's already good

The Team Sleep debut is being released on vinyl for record store day:

Comes with two unreleased songs. Death By Plane? Iceache? Mercedes? Appollonia? Something we haven't heard before?

Inkblades

The  two unreleased songs are Let's Go and Kool Aide. Would be nice to get Kool Aide on streaming.
