I have a love-hate relationship with Pitchfork but that has to be one of the better reviews of any of their albums I've seen in a while. The guy obviously understands the dynamic of the band members and music, which is pretty cool to see. He also correctly identifies which songs on the album are going to be live killers, and raises expectations up a notch  --- a real good review overall.

"Flamingos"
"I am not that deep on it"

This made my day.

They love Team Sleep.

Predictable: they fucking found a way to mention Kanye West in a goddamn Deftones album review.

Is that bad that the first thing that came to my head when I saw pitchfork give them a decent score is that Jaypayton is going to be even more upset that more "hipsters" will get into Deftones?

Don't know if that was made clear, but the very first snippet we got on that studio video like a year ago (?) was from Hearts/Wires.
It was an instagram clip, right? Or you're talking about the merch clips? Btw, wtf is Dwarf Dicks?

Yes yes, Deftones, yes yes, heavy metal, yes yes, nü metal, yes yes, fucking queer, yes yes...

That was downright awesome. I love the visuals and overall use of colors and stuff like that. I think this video fits the time frame of 2016 very well...one of their better videos for sure!

Looks pretty awesome, i love it, but the whole Chino running down the street thing is cheesy as hell.. Probably shouldve left that out... Also, this reminds me of Foo Fighters video for Times Like These

What a pleasant surprise! Man that was a cool video!

And Rubicon live better be a staple. What a song. Deftones at their best! Love it.
