It's not always them, they had the record done since August. It's the label as well, get promotion sorted and what time of year would be good to release it, we all know of how SNW was back and back dated till it came out that October.

I don't know if Deftones will ever be an arena headliner. As much as I love them. Just don't really see it. After six albums and seeing as how their heyday was basically probably some time in the mid to late 90's, I doubt much could really happen to put them at that level. They play large ballrooms at best. They're still successful though.
