I didn't send it to anybody. Shut the fuck up.

There is no way this album is gonna be more radio-friendly or mainstream-sounding than DE. Not by my own definitions of it anyways. I can see it's not gonna be as heavy, it's not gonna have a WGTB song on it, but nonetheless, DE was the simplest album they've done in my opinion, just very clear, clean, straight-forward, happy, etc. This album has some elements of that, but I can definitely hear, frm the songs out there and also the previews, influences frm past albums and other directions they've gone in. So to some it might be the most commercial album, but I wouldnt think so. WP is their most popular, no? So by that logic, that's their most commercial album. And yet there's so much going on, creativity-wise, it's a brilliant album. So to me that doesnt mean much. I know I'll love the album, but many ppl wont, because they've been making music for such a long time and have changed a lot over the yrs, so some ppl wont like where they're at now.

CLAMS CASINO FTW!
I think he would do a good remix, but still keep the eerie tone that Deftones have.

I love M83 all day, but that remix he did of Rocket Skates was lame.

I agree. Back when I was first listening to Deftones I enjoyed their heavier stuff (and I still do), but as I've grown older - I'm into more chill music such as Caribou, Toro Y Moi, Broken Social Scene, Clams Casino, Thievery Corporation etc. Since my tastes have gone more towards the chill side of the spectrum, I enjoy Deftones' more laid back emotional songs. Such as Digital Bath, Beauty School, Cherry Waves.

That's not to say that I don't dig a killer Chino scream, because I do.. My taste has changed along with their change in the way they write their music.

Yeah, that would be cool too. As you can tell by my screen name, I'm obviously a HUGE electronic music fan.
The only thing that could compare to the anticipation I have for this Deftones album, is the day I have tickets in my hand to go see Daft Punk live cause I've heard they have a killer live show.
