Righto, im going to college. When i get home if it hasn't leaked, im going to cry.

i got your back if and when it hits
Thanks man
I hope we all have each others backs, since *cough *cough a certain someone in here don't hehe

We've been on here for days on end, talking, fighting, arguing, bitching, complaining, trolling, more bitching..
It'd be down right wrong if no one had each others back if we found a leak.

I didn't send it to anybody. Shut the fuck up.

so do you agree with chino saying that Romantic dreams is the best song they have ever written? is there trap doors?

I can't help but laugh every time someone asks if this song has trap doors

White Pony is and will always be the most mainstream album they've ever done.  That record started the turmoil in the band which very evident in Entertain Me.  It's also extremely boring album to listen to all the way through.  Obviously I despise that record outside of a few tracks

I respectfully disagree. I don't see at all what's mainstream about WP, in the context of their previous albums. Deftones will always be sort of mainstream though, so it kinda depends on the context and what meaning you put into "mainstream". but in my opinion, WP is their one album that sounds the least like anything else I've ever heard. it's the album that has the least catchy songs. and it's the album that has them experimenting the most with new sounds. so out of curiosity, I wonder why you think it's their most mainstream?

Gotta love this forum..

All the trolling for/about a leak.. so the topic get locked.

V, the mod, goes here talking about how he has it and has to keep it to himself..

How typical xD

Hypocrisy 101 right here.

Jup that + as a mod u gotta lead by example.. not really doing that.

I don't get the point in saying "i have it!! when u have to keep it to urself".. seems like a cry for attention.. ;-)

I think in terms of diversity, experimentation, breaking new ground, and sheer quality white pony is their best album. and i'm sure those who were around, and into the 'tones at the time would agree. it really cemented them as something special. having said that, ATF is probably my favourite. But i couldn't have ATF without WP. For me ATF & WP will always be their best work.

Who would you guys like to remix the singles of Koi No Yokan?

CLAMS CASINO FTW!
I think he would do a good remix, but still keep the eerie tone that Deftones have.

I love M83 all day, but that remix he did of Rocket Skates was lame.

Sorry my friend, but I have to strongly disagree with you on the M83 remix of Rocket Skates, there is so much emotion in that remix and just the way he layered Chino's vocals is fucking breathtaking to me... Actually,I like it better than the original Deftones version of Rocket Skates.. lol

Maybe I need to give it another chance.. I dunno. I listened to it a few times and it just kind of bored me. Love M83 though.

That's funny, because I hated almost everything on White pony. Songs are good, but the sound isn't aggressive enough on this record. For me, its their worst effort. But I have to admit that if I put the record on, I listen to ist entirity.

ATF is my favourite.

i dont want any of their shit remixed.. i am a huge electronic music fan but i cant stand when they take deftones songs and re-do them.. just my opinion

Deftones cancelled their show in Chile tonight.  First signs of a band break up.  Good run fellas

Right on and if it doesn't click with you then, that's cool man, just listen to it with a good pair of headphones..To me, I think Anthony put a lot of time into it. M83 and Deftones are my two favorite bands, so to experience both of them in one song is pretty sweet.

I get what you're saying. I'd say ATF is the tighter record of the two (there is zero fat on that album), but WP's charm is in its comparative excesses. Every track does something interesting.

Yeah, I have to agree with you to be honest. Their songs don't go over too well when remixed.
Even that Bassnectar remix of Prince was just OK.

never really got the point of remixes. always seemed like a lazy effort to take credit for someone else's work to me.

The Weeknd - His remix of Shake It Out/Florence and the Machine was f'n flawless...better than the original

Yeah, I mean.. not to go off topic, but seriously - every time I put on Hurry Up, We're Dreaming I listen to it all the way through. I could die and be happy, that album is a masterpiece in its own right.
