Anything unorthodox as far as song structure or time signatures with this song? I'm always a little afraid with this band of the prospect of laziness and them throwing out verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge(which is actually just the verse or chorus played in a slightly different way)/chorus.

And by the way, Doomed User kicks fucking ass.  I love it.  Even vocally.  I can see the 80s Morrissey style vocal influence.  Instrumentally it's heavy as fuck, and the verse riff is very different for them.  I can understand why reviewers said it harks back to an earlier era for them.

Awesome song. Verse riff kicks ass and I like the way Chino sounds on it. The verse is just so badass. Very catchy chorus too, sounds way better than in the live version.

well yea after a few more spins   , i have to say the chorus is very catchy , ...what i find weird is the verse sound a bit of metalllica for me

Exactly. It's why moaning about the mix supposedly being 'terrible' is complete bullshit. Koi No Yokan was too clean sounding, this sounds more loose and raw. Ideally the drums would be clearer but I'm fine with the rest of it.

The mix sounds fine to me through a Hi Fi. Everything seems to have it's own space.
