Listened to the low quality rip this morning. At first I thought it was fake. Vocals sounded weird. Reminded me of Mein at first. Definitely hear the pumpkins influence in there for sure. Gonna hold out until proper release tonight to listen again.

it depends what you dislike about mein. I dislike mein, and I can see the comparison, but this is much better, by a mile.

The Mein comparison can only really be made on the groove. And the groove is the only strong part of Mein. The songs aren't similar otherwise.

After a proper listen to a good quality version on a real set of speakers... fuck YES. This is deftones. There is NO band that can replicate what these guys can do together and this song is again more proof of that.
