Truthfully this is the first upcoming album I've followed for them haha. I've been a fan since Gore but I never really was in the forums or reddit at all.

Ahhh ok. It's exciting for sure! We're all just huge fans and just can't wait to hear the album. A part of me feels bad for wanting a leak. I selfishly wish there was a way we could all share a leak without it getting out to the greater world wide webs.

I've been a part of each album cycle on this site since SNW. Each time we're waiting on a leak, it's been a little different but for the most part we end up getting it first and it's usually some random guy gets a copy and rips it for us. Similar to what we thought was going to happen last night lol

It's only 5 days, 14 hours and 34 minutes

until the official full quality release (I'm not counting the New Zealand release because who knows how the quality would be for that leak).

The album is so close in it's full glory, why ruin it now?

I feel like a lot of leaks are shadow dropped, if I'm not mistaken. It will be from an unknown source I feel like.

When it comes to like 99% of new albums, yeah. But with this band, almost none of their albums have been shadow dropped. It always goes down exactly how it did last night except we usually end up with a leak by the end of it lol

Been lurking and wasn't even sure I had an account on here after... but with Ohms, at least one of the first leaks was from some people here in Texas who worked at a record shop. That was a fun time coordinating with a bunch of discord people to push it out. Felt weird being a part of that and immediately ordered a record, cd, and a shirt to make up for my sins lol

Well, that was before the store in Tijuana got a call from the record label and got to sell it early. Someone was going to go an hour before it closed to buy it, but it was too late by then, the shop stopped selling it.

Cool. For me it's the 3rd one (almost 4th though - I got into Deftones right after KNY release). I remember the Gore hype, all those teasers and stuff, but the most painful to wait was Ohms. Even though this is the longest gap between albums, I've learned to wait haha

Been a lurker since KNY days but been a fan since WP. All this hype got me excited to finally create an account. Love this community.

I was thinking last night that I don't mind the album titled Private Music, but Ecdysis  would've been a badass name too. When I saw that song title I immediately thought it would've been perfect for the album name too. What do y'all think? It kinda makes more sense with the meaning behind the word and imagery of the album artwork.

Also, do y'all think there's going to be an instrumental on the album? They haven't done one since SNW but for some reason, I can't help but think one of the songs is going to be. Hopefully we find out soon!

personally, i think i'm going to have to stop myself from hearing the leak but i'm too hyped for this new album so i doubt it
