Some dude made a comment a little while ago that we would hit 1k comments before album came out. I believe it's way higher than that at this point since there is absolutely no news whatsoever, which is really odd to me.

I hope they give us something on Easter, even if it's just a hint or SOMETHING NEW PLEASE IM BEGGING AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

April is probably done for man. I wouldn't count on anything until summer.

From a business standpoint, it could be due to the instability of the American market right now.

My guess would be they will do some publicity over the summer, release a single around the start of their tour and the album will be out November.

I scrubbed though the BReal podcast Steph was on yesterday and he made no mention of the album nor did anyone from the chat ask about it. They even do shoutouts and the end and the woman they had on promoted her book and Steph had the opportunity to do his own promotions and nothing 🤦🏽�♂️

Any Hollow Knight fans in here too, waiting for Silksong? The two things I have been looking forward to for years have both had bizzare, extended silence. At least Silksong got confirmed to be sometime this year. As someone else mentioned, I am convinced something else happened behind the scenes near the end of the year that changed all the initial plans.

Deftones usually release their albums in fall & summer/spring months, with no winter releases that I know.

With spring coming to a close soon and no official news or information yet, I'd say it's safe to assume we can expect summer or fall release. Who knows, maybe they will have a first and release it in winter, though that seems unlikely.

I think it's coming after leg two of the tour, and I honestly can't blame them as much as I want new music. It makes sense to just ride out this arena tour that's already sold out and successful without new music, and then release it late fall/winter with DDLD getting a new song or two

If they're really trying to use the tour success to their advantage, they shouldn't wait too long to release the album. Nowadays stuff gets popular and then dies off super quick.
