I just saw Drive. Great film, and I was especially impressed with the different ways these characters bought the farm. Very creative!

I thought it was terrible.

There was no dialogue, the only going for it was the soundtrack. Gosling was too cool for me, I couldnt stop laughing.

I like all those things but the movie is still shitty and childish.
There was a perioid where every time I went to my friends house they were just baked out of their minds watching it, then when it finished it fucking repeated itself and they watched it again!

They put the concept into practice perfectly. (as visual,as musical,as characters..)
Story is funny, martial arts are perfect, visuals are suprisingly awesome, musics are ok, jokes are nice..
What else would you want?

We have millions of ''man-ish'' movies, %90 of them are the same.
Nothing creative, nothing new,nothing brave.

I don't watch car chase movies. Seen 5 seen them all. I just think Scot Pilgrim is an essential movie for any scene kid. Or maybe the hipsters will give it a cult following in 10 years. Who knows, films sucks.

I'm actually a girl, but I don't mind being referred to as a guy either.

I think the fact that I'm not into those things did play a part as to why I wasn't fond of the film, but I just didn't think the movie was all that funny or interesting. Had it been written better, I think I would have been okay with this film.

Not so much the story, but the structure of the story. It didn't flow the way it should have. That and the dialogue wasn't very good as well. I was actually okay with the concept of the story.

I saw Elite Squad 2 recently as well. Should get way more recognition than it does, it was definitely one of the best movies I watched from last year.

This sounds like a terrible way to describe it, but it was basically a gritty, Brazilian Michael Mann kind of movie.
