I'd say it's their most listenable along with Rated R - it has No One Knows and Go With The Flow on which are 2 of their well known singles :]

I saw them in Manchester last December and they put on an awesome show, although I didn't enjoy being at the barrier cos I'm used to people in the crowd going into eachother rather than bouncing up and down and my hips got bashed about sooo much :P

Haha, I think he's hilarious. If people throw shit on stage they deserve to be called out on it.

devilinside

I agree. I've seen Trent walk off of the stage halfway through a show cause someone threw a lighter at him. haha  I love Josh,he's great live.

Yup definitely Songs for the Deaf
It's a classic album - absolutely brilliant.
I would say it's their most listenable and most experimental.
It's an album you definitely have to own.Nick Olivieri's and Mark Lanegan's contributions make this album stand out for me.
Next I would listen to Rated R.
Their self titled album is also very good - you can hear it's their debut - it's a lot more raw.
I think Lullabies to Paralyse is very underrated - it's a great dark album.
Era Vulgaris is also good. It's quite different from their others. To me its a bit ahead of it's time and the song structures are very interesting.
Does anyone know when they're going to release a new album - it's been far too long!!!
I haven't really listened to Them Crooked Vultures - I thought the singles were a bit dull and it put me off a bit.
Does anyone have this album - is it worth giving it a proper try?

you're aware that you just replied to a two year old post?

I would recommend Them Crooked Vultures if you're a qotsa fan. And judging from your post, I guess you are. The album isn't anything revolutionary, but it's some pretty good rock n' roll.

Agreed. And I would so do Josh.

Era Vulgaris has really grown on me, but Rated R is still my favorite.
