The question is why would they sign a deal just to put an EP out when they could self release it? A full length makes more sense if they're on Sumerian Records.

yeah I think it  might be that track count makes it an ep but it will be full length duration wise sort of like palms, I don't get it either they wouldn't sign a distribution deal unless it was a full album, they would just do the whole bandcamp thing whereas if it is a full release they would want a full release so it'd make sense for them to use Sumerians distribution network

Yeah, I don't see why they'd go to the trouble of signing with a fairly large label just to release another EP (since they release two already without one). Really hope it's a full-length.
