Wow, i just gotta say this show sucked. I got there at 8, and the tones already were playing thier second song. The crowd was super stiff. Should have known better, these open lawn venues deztroy the vibe entirely. TheY were designed for jimmy buffet, and toby kieth, not deftones. It was so deppresing to see, i left after the tones 45 minute set. FUCK VIACOM

This sucks. I assume it was more of a venue problem than a problem with the actual show or performance. Why the fuck would they even book an open lawn venue with seating for a hard rock/metal show. Fucking retarded.

It's good to see Chino interacting with the crowd on a personal level, you don't really see that often where he'll just talk to someone lol

I love stef's tele-like ESP. Such a good looking guitar.

Haha you can tell that they aren't feeling the energy from the crowd like most shows. Although, they are still playing amazing. I feel like Abe is [well he is always on point] trying to break his drums! Especially during Fireal. No pit during Engine #9?? Weird.
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

yeah yeah.

in an all-seated venue, it's quite difficult, i think =P

Yeah... He's said he's liked them a lot before, in interviews. I think he said he wasn't like a huge fan but that he really digs them... And it's obvious they must be good friends with eachother...

At least I can rest assured there won't be seats at Heavy MTL. This is just brutal so far though. What a weak tour. Neither of these bands are the kind you want a seated experience for.
