Yeah, Chino had a hard time finding the right frets I think.

Mistakes, but still sounds beautiful and hopefully they'll play it again in full. I love that the setlists are still full of more or less the same songs, but they decided to play Riviere all the way through. Hopefully this is the start of more of this happening. I doubt it, but it'd certainly make everyone happy if they did.

I could see it being a bit complicated to get the dynamics and whatnot of it down.  It sounds a bit rough but good to hear nonetheless.  Some of Chino's singing in it sounds pretty good.  Hopefully they'll work on it and continue to play it.  That would be a great surprise for this tour.

Also, play some more off SNW.

is it really that hard to play?

Not really. I consider myself an novice to average guitarist and I can play it. But... I'm not singing while I'm doing it.

You nailed it... I think between this song and Combat it was one of those pieced together songs while it was written, where Chino recorded the vocals seperately without playing ( obviously in the vocal booth) along  in the studio and at certain chord changes it's difficult for him to smoothly let his vocal melodies free in those songs while playing guitar and singing live.  So I think thats why they dont play them as much.. I know they just wrote an album and all, but if they'd at least practice these songs once in awhile so they're comfortable playing them more often in a live setting.

Just watched the performance of Poltergeist. Chino's singing was pretty decent.

Diplo

Lyrics are different no ? Maybe Chino improvises
And the part between 0:31 and 0:50 seems to be slower or it's just me ?

Damn, it so nice to see Bored being played. Sounded great too, it looks like Steph is playing it with the 8 string.

I am impressed with how Bored sounds.  Also, I heart Riviere live.  Keep it going 'tones.

I don't know why they would have trouble playing it, it's a pretty simplistic song in contrast to most of their catalog.

Jerry_Curls

YUP!

WGTB was fucking intense! Havent screamed/headbanged that hard in a while.

They practiced Riviere twice in soundcheck..hmm...
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

yeah yeah.

cesar421

Yeah, it kinda sucks that they play it like that but in the other hand is awesome how they switch to Engine no.9
