Sounds like he drops to a super low C-Sharp note during the chorus (around the 0:58 mark, and again around 2:20) on The Spell of Mathematics. Haven't really noticed the 9th string anywhere else thus far.

interesting how little he uses it. he spammed the hell out of the 8 string on diamond eyes. but the riffs he made were really good catchy stuff though. this time he barely using his new 9 string (and i don't hear him using the 8th much either)

Got through my first listen and wow. They absolutely crushed it. There are 2 songs I need to listen to a few more times, but everything else is just great. Everyone should enjoy this.

Nah, probably an 8.

When he's using his 9 he's not always using the lowest strings anyway. He just fits in with the rest of the guys - especially if chino is playing guitar on the track too. For example on the OHMS clip he using his 9 and only using the strings that you could pick up a guitar tuned to standard tuning and play it on still. I could find out the exact songs he's using his 9 on and get back to you later.
