I'm going to be way off but after first listen I'm hearing Urantia with some swerve city and rosemary in the verses?

Yeah, that music is like Urantia/Swerve, the vocals reminscent of Genesis into the part with a Rosemary vibe. But very big and very immediate feeling. Triumphant. Loving this!

Good intro, short but I think it will be better within the whole album.

Huge sound,really strong screams, nice melody from Chino as usual.

Weird snare from Abe but I'm digging it.

It's beautiful guys. I feel like Steph was spot on with saying it's like a continuation of Ohms and Koi, I hear so much Koi in it. I've just had it on repeat, soaking it all in. Truly sounds like pure fucking Deftones.
We finally did it boys, now we wait. 42 days.. 2 more hours...

I know they love me, but i earned this money, deftones means alot to me, [my mom is not wise with money, she spent 200 dollars on almonds once]

Kids, c'mon it's ok to have differing opinions. We don't all have to gush over the first single.

Every album I hate at first, because it's a shock of what I expected to hear, like S/T; I was so disappointed by that album in the beginning but it's now my personal favorite album of theirs. Not saying MMIM will grow on anyone but I enjoyed it and can't wait to hear the rest of the album. If I heard Ohms the first time and hated it (in reality I love the song and video) then it would be so sad cause I can't live without Spell of Mathematics.
