I'm surprised they didn't drop the music video. Maybe tomorrow? The teaser images definitely looked like it's from a music video, but maybe not.

personally i felt like the single was really great,
though i also feel like it lacked something like there was something missing, otherwise it's a strong start to the album and i'm hyped for the rest

Quote from: Moana91 on Jul 10, 2025, 11:50 PMLoved the intro but for me I didn't go anywhere... felt like a missed opportunity because those initial guitars and the beat are so cool...
I dont get this, it didn't go anywhere? it has a verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, outro
not sure where you wanted it to go?

It's a personal thing about the emotions I feel in the "motif" if you will of the intro don't match where they took it with Chino's verses and the chorus...

i desagree
but i see where you are coming from, just let it sip in.

It's still great fucking music, basically Deftones never disappoints because they really approach it as art, just thinking about the progressive deterioration of bands like Korn or Limp Bizkit, this band is on another league.

Basically I feel like Chino always has a deep connection with what he is doing, never for the cash grab, and for that I'll always love them, even if sometimes I don't connect with some of their songs.

Every single one of their fucking albums has a fresh approach. Just think about Gore. This band will be remembered as one of the true ones.
Good evening... and welcome to the white pony

Again, 100% Tones. Nice push and pull, militant upfront leading into a solid groove.

Only gripe is it's less than 3 minutes. I feel like more!!! Lol
One last Thing...You Should Beware the Content!!

Thank God that you........ love..... at all.

They really do be edging us this album cycle

the images are def from a music video,, it aligns with the rumored music video in the making before the europe tour had begun. i'm also surprised they didn't published a music video but i don't really know if it's going to come out tomorrow or sometime in the next week(s)

Really good interview. Was funny watching Steph be like "what song is that?" Glad to hear he's getting his health under control. Zane really nailed it when he said the Nick R albums have a nighttime/neon sound to them. Can't wait to hear the rest.

It's about the experience, not the length  ;) If you love the band, then there's no reason to regret it! I'm sure you'll love it and be happy you got it, plus it's an exclusive piece of merch paid for by your own money, I think that's cool in of itself  :)

Would you prefer a long album that you only liste 10 times, or a shorter album that you listen forever.

kind of wished they would add like a secret track/bonus track hidden in the last song like they did with ATF

Diamond Eyes is shorter, but it doesn't feel any more or less in terms of time compared to the rest of their discography. Just an experience. It will be worth :)
Throw your faith in me. I'll take you some place brand new....

to be honest I always felt Diamond Eyes could have had one more song close to the end.
