yeah but if a band don't sell any record the label might not want to resign them (look at Machine head, they had to release one of their albm on an european label because no one wanted them, it finally came out in the states)

Agree 100%. Might even buy it even twice if there is an itunes exclusive track. Once for physical cd/art, once for exclusive track etc.

The album is fucking SICK. something for everybody on it. Royal is great but CMND/CTRL is brilliant.

Is somebody else doing chorus with Chino on Sextape? Im loving that tune... for real.

On Royal his voice is also very different... sounds like another guy doing verses.

And 2 I still don't dig: 976-EVIL and This Place is Death.

CMND/CTRL is very nu-metalish (I dont like that) but still good (imo).

some of their best work ever. a much more mature sound. i'm loving it to no end. always pays off to be a deftones fan...except the 4 years between thing. i'll be right there at the record store on may 18th and of course i know in the years to come i'll be buying many more copies, as i do all my cd's.
