It does make me feel better knowing I paid for the album that leaks.

this is so real 😭

Hey question guys, how long has Tokyo been here?
My dad says Deftones gay, but he doesn't know real music

Pink_Sands

I've got three copies headed my way. This reminds me of the Diamond Eyes leak though that was far earlier.

I have so many preorders from vinyl to cassette to cds. I've overspent but I don't care. This band has always deserved my money. They've earned it.

Anyone else playing through their discography while we wait? I'm finishing WP and on to Self Titled.

Sactown original fan from early 2000's. Linkin Park roped me in around the 5th/6th grade, then found out about Deftones and my mind was blown that they were from my city. S/T was first album cycle that I was hyped about.i remember playing Minerva over, over, and over. Have met each band member independently around town, and have a hilarious story of seeing Chino in the S/T era go into Zumiez at Arden Fair Mall to buy shoes and dude was so paranoid about people noticing him. He was high as shit (now we know it was meth) and he was acting like everyone in the store was getting ready to bombard him for autographs and pics lmao. I'm talking hat pulled down, jacket collar up, and just moving extremely sketchily. I just hope this album fits in the DE/KNY quality tier and not Ohms/Gore tier.

Yeah I've done Gore, ATF, white pony, self titled and KNY.

Felt like going back to KNY was most enjoyable, almost  forgot how much I enjoy that album. Unfortunately Gore continues to grow off me but acid and hearts/wires grew on me a little so there's that.

I've had to palette cleanse the last week or so tho as I don't wanna burn out on deftones (as hard as that is)

I really like Gore, though its probably my least favorite Deftones album. There's still a lot of songs on there that I love like Geometric Headress and Acid Hologram among otheres. I'm just not a fan of the production like many have stated.

Oh no, the yakuza got to the Tijuana record store owner.

I'm not playing anything. I want to go in FRESH

GR1X7S

I've mostly been going through different songs just to compare the production and mixing. I've come to the conclusion that Private Music from the 2 singles at least is perfectly dialed in and shows off every element of the band. It's similar to KNY but the way Chino sits in the middle really adds to the sound..his voice is used as another instrument. It needs to be heard through a proper speaker setup or studio quality headphones to really appreciate the dynamics

I replayed Ohms and Koi. Enjoyed them a lot more than I had in awhile after taking a long break from them. But beyond that I've had MMIAM and MOTM on constant repeat lol
