Deftones - private music (Album Thread)

I know everyone is still hyped with MOTM at the moment, but I'm still vibing with MMIAM. The 1:22 mark where the chugging gets on the low end just gets my head nodding every time. Is it just me?  I don't much about playing guitar but I guess he's chugging on the lower strings? It just sounds so good to my ears.

MMIAM couldn't have come at a better time for me in my life. I have went through the worst time in my life mentally this summer. I was in such a bad mental state that I was afraid Deftones would release the album or singles while I was going through it, and I didn't want to experience it that way. My mind and body began to heal when MMIAM released and it's so synchronous and uplifting to my situation. It's now my theme song for overcoming my own thoughts and mental state.

I've never known a Deftones album cycle where a week away from release there's only been one published interview in connection with it.

Yea there were barely any promotion for it at all, I think they expect the new tiktok emergence to give enough free advertisement and they might be right.

I think they'll have a big push next week leading up to it. I'm guessing interviews will come out alongside the review embargo. We'll probably also get more interviews post-album launch, once people have listened to the album.
