do they tag vinyls with the beeping tags? i'd see how their card section or underwear section looks cams-wise if you want to do a barcode transfer. they're a VERY hard store to do stuff like this at. good luck!

switching one vinyl/CD for another sounds easier than it is. remember, basically everything is wrapped in cellophane nowadays. that makes noise, especially if you're desperately crinkling it up to get it off faster (you could of course also use a blade, but bringing anything like sewing scissors or a packaging knife into a store with you can and will be a liability). if you go in when the store's quiet, people can and will hear and "meander" over to you, especially employees. if you go in when the store's busy, you're gonna be paranoid every 5 seconds unless you have a buddy checking behind you.

this would need someone experienced, preferably with nerves of steel.

even if you put it on top of the other barcode? when it came to stuff like this i never did barcode transfers, i just walked out after checking for beepy tags. i never went for something as big or expensive as a vinyl -- i mainly just wanted cute clothes/jewelry/accs.

i don't think anyone will actually do it at the end of the day 😅 like i said, you need a LOT of nerves for stuff like that. nowadays i'm getting stoned and watching FNAF fangame playthroughs or deftones concert/interview footage (or listening to music)...i think we can all wait two more hours, right? two more hours at a time

That's the only way to say it.

Do I have stories of the things (that which I will not put in writing) that I got away with at Target... barcodes/stickers, switcheroos... I almost got away with a free PS2 one time. It's how I first was able to play GTA Vice City and Silent Hill 2 for the first time FOR FREE (BTW both games blew my mind). Good times.
