I think it's just a case of my ears getting used to it. Now, certain parts like the feedback intro to Briana (which gives me the vibe it was a placeholder for something else) or the hot mic at the end of Margot are part of the experience.

I wonder how much Frank would've added with interludes, transitions and whatnot for the hypothetical final product, though.

It's cool to hear Chino's vocals on top of certain riffs. Some parts of Electra and Trempest would fit right in to KNY, but he had a totally different approach to them here-- more experimental and wild, especially Electra. As if he hadn't found the winning formula to match Steph's 8 string yet.

He also brought some Team Sleep into this. Margot is a type of song they'd never make post-DE, imo, and it reminds me a lot of Blvd. Nights.

I have a very interesting question over in the bullshit thread. It's got nothing to do w Eros, just wanted to get some attention on it because it's something I'd really like to know and maybe others would like to know. Thanks🙂

Has anyone ever or can anyone decipher or find someone to decipher what looks like Arabic writing in the Saturday night wrist artwork album jacket? 🤔 maybe there's something purposeful there. I've always wondered this and never thought to mention it. in my garage, I have that page hanging up with the baphomet or "satan" like being standing next to the other in the white cloak, next to the lake and trees. It's always been my favorite piece of art in their whole catalog along with "bandaged love". I just happen to be in the garage looking at it while listening to eros

Electra stands out

Electra is great just the way it is. If that's what you mean... this version sounds perfect on a good sound system. If you've got a nice clear crisp loud sound system in your vehicle. It is the best way to hear it I have found.
I listened to it once on My Daughter's beats headphones and it wasn't anything compared to my Harman Kardon  speakers in the truck. I like the punk influences I hear on this album as in Electra. So ATF. Abe's drums punch right through it just perfectly and I think his drums were recorded just right on this record. I have also found that at least six for sure but maybe eight songs on here we're already ready to be mastered. I think there are 6 to 8 complete songs here that there was no reason to tamper with ...so I can't remember how far along they claimed to be, but I think they said the music was pretty much finished and the vocals were halfway. I think they were right about the music part but I think Chino was more than 50% done if there's six or eight complete songs in my opinion. Anyone else have a take on that? Obviously, we don't know their thoughts and what songs they might scrap or manipulate later. What do you think about that comparison of what they said to what you hear?
