Great explanation he pointed out (even though he wasn't in the band during that time) about the band still being connected to that so called genre. I totally agree.
Loved how he said they approach It all.

It's amazing how people still lump them in with some of those shit bands. I understand they were on the rise during the same time as some of them but come on.

I call bullshit on them playing Phantom Bride live lol. The last question of that second interview is going to make people think Chino wants Frank out of the band now. Can't wait to see the press take off with it.

Well...how else are we supposed to take that? That's basically exactly what he's saying. The fuck else is Frank going to do? Play the cowbell? I'm sure Chino will downplay it or say he was taken out of context in future interviews. Hopefully he's just talking out of his ass.

And Chino, on the (admittedly microscopic) off chance that you're reading...awful, awful idea. Sorry, mate, but are you fucking serious? Frank has always added a whole new dimension to the band. And frankly (no pun intended), songs where he's downplayed (Doomed User, Gore, Beware, etc.) can really, really use him.

I guess that would make quite a few people on this board happy, maybe they'll finally write Adrenaline 2.0

I'm sure he doesn't want Frank out of the band, it's more like what he says. Every album they talk about expanding their sound, and he's saying it'd be interesting to do the opposite. It'd be interesting, but hell no. Frank's a member of the band, what if he'd said "We'll make an album but without drums"? I know it's not the same thing because Frank isn't needed to make songs, it's more that he adds to them. But even so, that's kind of a mean thing to say.

Anyway, I wish Frank was more prominent in their songs. His effects in Digital Bath are probably my favourite, it makes the atmosphere and mood of their music even more amplified. So I'm not sure what he's thinking except that it's just another aspect of wanting to experiment with something.

The interview talking about them playing Phantom Bride is cool. They have been playing more Gore songs, and hell, even played a SNW song for an opener, that's a big change for them (first time in like six years, possibly?), so I think if they have the time to rehearse and figure out a way for it to work, they will play it. Even if just for a few shows. Hell, hopefully the other songs not yet played will make an appearance too.

And Chino doing more stripped back vocals would be pretty exciting.

I feel like Doomed User is the perfect song for Frank to do his thing... Disappointed he's not doing anything on that track.. Really needs him. Frank adds so much to this band. Not down for a record without him..
