What guitar is chino playing durning Minerva? Haven't seen that one before.. They sound great right now!

Shadow46/2

Starting the show with three s/t tracks... That's unprecedented.

Speak of the devil, and he shall appear.

Tonight's setlist, evidently. No new song, but it's nice to see that self-titled was well represented. Needles & Pins! They actually played more self-titled songs than Adrenaline, ATF, WP and KNY songs. That has to be a first in a long time.

Hoooooooooooooooolyyyyyyyyyyyyyy shiiiiiiiiiiiiittt dude!  So psyched to be seeing them twice this tour!  ST is my favorite album of theirs, but I've only ever been able to hear Hexagram once, Minerva once, and Bloody cape three times in the 6 times I've seen them live!  I would fucking die if they played WGTB live....  Just fucking die.

And just to add, my second favorite album of theirs is SNW, but they seem to hate that album and never play any songs live.  I've only ever heard Riviere, and only one time, live from that one.  So Beware would make my life.  This is shaping up to be the best Deftones concert I've ever been to!

Okay, according to this article, they DID play a new song after all. I think? Can anyone confirm?

I think the writer probably mistook one of the lesser known songs like Beware for a new song

Edit: Nevermind. Just saw he mentioned Beware in his review. That means there really was a new song in the set?!

Chino screaming a lot better these days + the abundance of S/T era songs= HOPEFULLY the new album will be aggressive as hell

This was my first thought...  I could see the White Pony or Diamond Eyes fanboys hearing a song from ST or SNW and thinking it's a new song.

Haha so true. At the shows I was at in May they played lotion and i looked around and no one had a clue about the lyrics. They play rocket skates and everyone's going nuts.. Some guy in line before the show telling me how diamond eyes is the only good album they have ever made.... Ok

Penicks

people like that (and luckyme) are the reason I don't go to live shows

Wow, WGTB is sounding amazing. His vocals, even the screaming, sounding so good, and the fact that they're switching up the setlist a lot, are definitely good things. I'm looking forward to seeing them in London, hopefully they continue on this path.

And Beware. I've been always hoping they play this song, it's one of my favourites. If they play it while I see them, I'll cry with happiness.

Totally agree, WGTB sounds awesome, that Chino's scream is perfect

Damn, so incubus is closing the show tonight again. They both play the same amount of songs, but I think it's safe to say that incubus will probably be closing every show on the tour. That's how it was last year for the Nine inch nails/Soundgarden co-headlining tour, Nine inch nails closed every show.
