i hope they add more shows. i refuse to go to RotR and the closest show to me is detroit (and i refuse to go there too). boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

stop being a pussy, Detroit has some of the best venues in the country.  Being scared shitless on the way there and back is half the fun. 

I assume you're talking about blackdiamondskye at DTE Energy Theater?  DTE is really nice for an outdoor amphitheatre, but its not really even  close to Detroit.  There are many miles between that venue and anything remotely ghetto.

Windsor is pretty badass, beer is cheap and prostitution and peyote are legal.  Not that I would indulge in such things

I hear ya though.  I live right in between the two, 2.5 hours each way.  I usually choose Detroit because it's a cheaper trip, less hassle, and the venues are ancient and beautiful.  But if it was a longer drive and I was staying for a couple days, Chicago is definitely where it's at.

Why do I feel like if I'm a little more patient, I won't have to go to this BlackDiamondSkye show?  I really would rather set myself on fire than spend $80 to see AIC lite.  It's just crap.  I mean, are they even going to play a whole set?  I'm sure I'm going to get crucified for bitching about this but really, IDGAS. Obviously not as good as the 7 times I saw Alice with Layne in the early 90's but hey ho.

I've actually seen William with Jerry's band about 9 years ago.  He is dead on.  However, their latest album makes me want to slit my wrists.  I'm just over it already.
