40, my brother is 3 years older, so he was into them when he was in his teenage years, I was like 10/11/12 ish.. i'd hear it all the time, the videos for Bored and MOS/BQAD would be on Much Music every now and then.. didn't really get super into them until my brother brought home a leaked copy of White Pony. After that, i've been there for every future release.

Daaamn.. Deftonesworld. I used to be on that site constantly when I was in high school. Back in the ol' AOL internet days. I haven't visited it in ages tho.

I found Deftonesworld looking for a pre-sale (I think) ticket code for the 2003 club tour. 22 years ago. Wild.

8/8 aside.. I was thinking Infinite Source or Metal Dream. I have a feeling that Metal Dream might be a Digital Bath/Beauty School/Sex Tape style track. Just a feeling. I think people assume it's heavy because "Metal" is in the title but Chino isn't that predictable. I could see them releasing a less traditional "heavy" track for the second single, if we get one.

i feel like the next single is going to either be infinite source or i think about you all the time. theyre relatively short compared to, for example souvenir which is 6 minutes long, and their titles are in a way ''radio appropriate''. another guess is potentially cut hands but i'm not sure. i do hope departing the body isn't going to be the next potential single as it would just spoil the end of the album

I don't think we'll get anything on 8/8. I mean it fits the whole 8 theme thing we had going for August release, but I think it'll be the 15th... Anyway, IF we don't get anything this week from them, apparently there's a band called Great American Ghost that are releasing a single on Wednesday and it's a cover of HITE.

Also my prediction for second single will either be infinite source or i think about you all the time.

seems to me a lot of bands are putting out the first 1 or 2 tracks out as singles so they don't fuck up the tracking of the album. *shrug*

For ohms it was 4 weeks from first single to second.

This week is the 4th week since mmiam, so we could get it Friday. They only started teasing genesis2 days before they released the video, so teasers could start Wednesday.
