also, idk if this is a part of the actual song, but alot of clips from 'dallas' start right at the beggining riff, whereas i prefer the version with franks cool middle eastern sounding synth kinda intro, and where chino says (i think) "and im all together new" then the song starts. which do you guys prefer? i think that intro is pretty sick

Great post, broadly agree with it. It took me a moment but I might agree with your take that ITAYATT is better than Sextape.

Quote from: Inkblades on Sep 03, 2025, 04:43 AMSmile, the live performances of Melanie, that extended performance of Dallas and those in-studio clips they shared before Chi's accident are all we have of Eros and probably will ever have. That's it.

So basically this:

There are also 2 more demos at the end!

I forgot about that weird early YSTB instrumental lol. But yeah, everything is in that video.

Nope, far from it. I wish I had stayed away from any discourse in the run up... I'm really tired of reading about their TikTok resurgence.

First time?

A lot moved over to discord when all the redditards started showing up. I've still been jamming the album, just letting it play through. Picked up a purple copy of the album last week. Bummed but not surprised to see the setlist only has three new songs. But bitching about to setlist is beating a dead horse at this point.

Yeah, since Gore I have not been shocked at the lack of new stuff in the setlist. Saw them 2017 and I think Phantom Bride was the only Gore song... not that I'm complaining about that one.

The new album is good, and is growing on me slowly. Infinite Source and MotM would easily make a best of for me, but at this stage I was totally enamoured with Ohms.

Those mixlr clips from Chino really fooled me. Not as Eros material, but as demos from post-Gore era. That band sounds really close to Deftones at times. Although, listening to the entire songs, it does get a little monotonous and overly contrived and theatrical after a while.
