merry chrisma on the former

thanks a mil!

I'm at a Detroit Tigers game versus the Oakland Athletics in Detroit tonight. I've heard Deftones play four times now over speakers between innings and pitches and it's only the third inning. I might have heard my own summer here once or twice in 30 years. (29 i guess)

I'll echo this and request a PM for a Discord invite. Thank you for the consideration.

Always loved that version of Hexagram. That video of just them performing at the spot brings me way back.

Thanks for posting!

Some people have asked me about these...

The chill remix of Hexagram set to the music video is one of the few remains from DeftonesLive deletion. This was approved by both Warner, onlynoises (the remixer) and Darren Doane the video director. Do with it as you wish.

On a related note, someone wanted to know if I'd made any other self-titled edits like WGTB from the early 2010s where I'd boosted Frank's synths. The answer is yes, I made an attempt on Hexagram years and years ago and someone eventually re-uploaded it after the end of the channel :

Felt like a nice addition of momentum for that track.

I feel like Im dumb for never even considering doing this. Gonna give it a go...

I think that extra speed helps with the ending riff, too. Although I do like the original speed's Kyuss feel.

Trempest might work slowed down a tad (like it is in the studio clips), but its "chorus" section sounds off in the process.

Either way, there are definite seeds of KNY here: Electra       --> Tempest, while Trempest is like a doomier, slower Poltergiest.

Such a good record, you can rearrange the songs however you want, but as somebody pointed out, diamond was definitely meant to be a closer most likely but Jesus, I just started incorporating smile and dallas to all the rest of it that I've already heard so many times and it was something that was going to be so amazing like most of us speculated. The guitar sound, the recording of the drums, the style in which Chino sings in, are a time capsule. I totally hear those early mid 2000s just after Saturday night wrist in this record and I am so thankful and grateful. I really still can't believe it happened.
