Regarding Chi waking up and playing with the guys again, I've heard a lot of rumors about it. I went to Boston a few weeks ago to see the Blackdiamondskye tour, and I met this dude who was pretty much as big of a fan of the good ole 'tones as I am. He said something about the nerves in Chi's right arm being damaged to the point of his not being able to regain full motor function in his hand and fingers, so if and when he wakes up he wouldn't be able to play bass anymore. I kicked myself for not asking this guy where he got his info

well, in 2002 Dave Mustaine had saturday night wrist, and it screwed up the nerves in his playing hand badly. was told by doctors he'd never play guitar again, or never at the level he used to, but he said oh helll no and refused to except that and worked really hard and relearned how to play, got his hand working right again and plays as good as ever

A significant difference though: the fact that Dave started to play guitar again is not a good thing, but if Chi would play again it would be great.

Maybe they ran out of ideas for a new song and played the dallas theme. that's right, the dallas theme on Eros. Wouldn't that be the day

I really, really want to hear this record now. I'm probably hyping it up to be some masterpiece but it has soooooo much meaning behind it.

i'm afraid we'll never see eros. maybe one day we'll hear the completed songs but it just seems downright unlikely that chino will ever finish his vocals for this stuff. maybe the unfinished stuff will be released or leaked as instrumental stuff  (unlikely) but surely chino won't be revisiting this. too bad really but it's all part of the mystique i guess. it'd make more money than diamond eyes imo.

i think when chino said ''someday it will be out'' he meant ''in 10 years or more''

they lost the passion of work with the eros songs i guess...thats why chino loved DE album more and he said ''DE is our best album''
Cause they dont earn so much money from makin a new album they do not want to put forth an effort,energy..
chino will work with another bands and his side prject and he will forget about the eros...he doesnt care im sure..he just says ''lets wait till chi can play''

I don't know what that is.
No, it was mostly electronic, i think. Chino had a different effect on his voice, and in the chorus he was saying something like
"Never gonna give you up, never gonna something something etc."
It's not that it's "bad" perse', just not what i was expecting.
Also the video was lame, it was basically the same exact thing as the Mein video, except the editing was way different, and it was way cooler than Mein. Then he said "never gonna mess around, and desert you" or something like that.
All in all, it was still better than anything from Diamond Ass.
What's cool is, like i said, i found it COMPLETELY by accident. I'm really surprised no one else has seen this yet.
