Quote from: kitesvera on Jun 22, 2026, 11:56 PMIt appears the second vocalist on Brianna is Kurt Travis former vocalist of Dance Gavin Dance. He's on the song caviar which has a feature from Chino. Apparently Kurt himself confirmed its him.

Is there a way to find this confirmation?

It's Shaun Lopez, defsecrets lowkey confirmed it on the other thread. Plus, Chino Recorded Eros's vocal at shaun's studio (or at least, smile, as chino himself said)

Also. huge fan of Shaun's band revolution smile, and yeah that's totally him.

I'm finishing a personal remaster; I remember a few days ago some guitars from one of the eros song leaking that we hadn't in the original master (I think it was a right channel leak or something? brenda? briana?)

If anybody has it and feels like contributing, don't hesitate to DM me-

my take on an album cover for eros, i saw this one art frank maddocks made for snw that they didn't end up going with and realized how much itd fit eros with slight modifications just for the sole fact that the album consists of songs with stripper names as (working) titles lol
no leddit tier posts allowed, this is your final warning

this also includes people feeling the urge to post their merch, their spotify playlists, their discovery of lovers, their love for anything post snow (eros not included)

Wait, it's Shaun singing.. not Kurt? Which thread is the confirmation?

Draken

Did I miss something in the thread... when did all that happen?

Guess I'll post my shitty art in the Art section then, lol.

Maybe not but quite possibly Chino's guitar Solo. Melanie, and trempist r instant faves. I did not expect at all to hear Mike Shinoda from LP on Destiny
yea i think the lead guitar parts can be considered solos for sure, on "diamond" and "briana". they're just as solo'y as the one in phantom bride.

also from older stuff there's "answers", the beginning of "hearts/wires", and "goon squad" sorta has one. rare but it sometimes happens

I love that album cover from their site from those days. I think it works perfectly. I like the flower with the morning dew on it and the sunlight creeping in that somebody made also. I'm not down with the new Deftones font going with it. I like the old classic Deftones font the original.

recreating would be actually doing something worthwhile instead of just shoving something in an ai upscaler and put the sharpening slider all the way to the right

My brother in christ, don't offend me please.

It's cool ZEFmule, no matter how it was made. Thanks for sharing that. I might upload something I did around the time we were waiting, which is crazy to go back in time like that. I remember that image now.

Chi Cheng is the perfect example of a fallen artist that i think would have wanted his fans to hear music that he made. anybody who knew what Chi was like to us in the public, you know he's the type of guy that's like "fuck it. What's the big deal? The fans want to hear it let them hear it." that's what I think Chi would want. Along with Frank, Stephen and Abe. I hope his family can benefit from this somehow in the near future.. we have EROS. ITS OVER WITH FINALLY😊🥰

Agreed, i just meant its super rare with this band but its all in what we consider a guitar solo i think.  Diamond is gorgeous and yet simple sounding. That synth underneath is THE SAUCE
Eros has that dark sound that i personally think they grew out of after these sessions.  It was my greatest hope in this record. Did not disappoint

DefFsho

Am i wrong abt MShinoda being on Destiny? Not really familiar with LP

I mean, I met him and his mom and nothing about my interaction would suggest that. There is no way to know, and you don't need to try and publicly justify yourself. It's out and that's that.

it is really great to hear this stuff, and in such a far more complete form than i figured it would be in. also, i'm having a very hard time hearing any bass/Chi. i dunno if i need to play it on proper speakers, and not just a laptop. what songs is the bass most obvious?

and the ohms b-side, rain, is great too

Like I said, it was just my thought. Based on my interaction and just the way he was an interviews and such I don't think he would be against it. I'm not trying to publicly justify myself. I was actually trying to give a little insight from my own opinion to others that are afraid to listen to it. It's all good. We all have Different opinions and interactions with the same people. Chi Has always come off to me as the guy that would give you the shirt off of his back and wouldn't guard this and have it thrown in the toilet. The guy loved making people Laugh and be happy and have a good time. The rest of the band has stated that much

I mean, the first two tracks I can really hear his fingers on the bass. Maybe they are incomplete because honestly, I think probably every track on here is still in demo form without mastering except for Melanie maybe. That's just my ears and I am not a musician.
Melanie sounds complete to me and I am very happy with it. But there is stuff missing in a bunch of random parts of this version. And I don't hear bass in a lot of it the more I listen to it ...you know whenever we get these new albums and at first listen you have a hard on and think it's the greatest thing ever and then it changes and morphs The more listens you give it and the more time goes by?The last five albums for me, especially did that.

Yeah, I dig that song that was taken out of ohms, Rain. More parts than others I really like. Upon just a couple listens it doesn't sound very cohesive to me, but like I say this shit always changes overtime imo

well now i'm a bit confused...i thought the ohms track that got leaked was named sensations? is this the same track or did a different track leak?
