Quote from: DefFsho on Jun 27, 2026, 08:53 PMChi Cheng is the perfect example of a fallen artist that i think would have wanted his fans to hear music that he made. anybody who knew what Chi was like to us in the public, you know he's the type of guy that's like "fuck it. What's the big deal? The fans want to hear it let them hear it." that's what I think Chi would want. Along with Frank, Stephen and Abe. I hope his family can benefit from this somehow in the near future.. we have EROS. ITS OVER WITH FINALLY😊🥰it is really great to hear this stuff, and in such a far more complete form than i figured it would be in. also, i'm having a very hard time hearing any bass/Chi. i dunno if i need to play it on proper speakers, and not just a laptop. what songs is the bass most obvious?

Quote from: Hidalgo on Jun 27, 2026, 07:52 PMAgreed, i just meant its super rare with this band but its all in what we consider a guitar solo i think. Diamond is gorgeous and yet simple sounding. That synth underneath is THE SAUCEQuote from: DefFsho on Jun 27, 2026, 03:18 AMFavorite moment is the second half of diamond. Would you call that a Solo? I would consider that a guitar solo and it's rare... cool song. Maybe not but quite possibly Chino's guitar Solo. Melanie, and trempist r instant faves. I did not expect at all to hear Mike Shinoda from LP on Destinyyea i think the lead guitar parts can be considered solos for sure, on "diamond" and "briana". they're just as solo'y as the one in phantom bride.
also from older stuff there's "answers", the beginning of "hearts/wires", and "goon squad" sorta has one. rare but it sometimes happens

I love that album cover from their site from those days. I think it works perfectly. I like the flower with the morning dew on it and the sunlight creeping in that somebody made also. I'm not down with the new Deftones font going with it. I like the old classic Deftones font the original.
My brother in christ, don't offend me please.
It's cool ZEFmule, no matter how it was made. Thanks for sharing that. I might upload something I did around the time we were waiting, which is crazy to go back in time like that. I remember that image now.

He's on the song caviar which has a feature from Chino. Apparently Kurt himself confirmed its him.
Is there a way to find this confirmation?
It's Shaun Lopez, defsecrets lowkey confirmed it on the other thread. Plus, Chino Recorded Eros's vocal at shaun's studio (or at least, smile, as chino himself said)
Also. huge fan of Shaun's band revolution smile, and yeah that's totally him.
