ENGINE... I mean "ALBUM NO. 9" cannot fuuuuuuuuucking waaaaaiiitt. Has anyone ever seen a record stay so high on reviewer ratings in all of music? Only one i can recall from a good source was Nas' perfect score for Illmatic way back. Anyone? I mean its 8 and up

lol, I was just surprised about Fantano highly praising deftones as one of the most enjoyable and important rock band in the last 20 years.

Music reviewer are very nice in general to music. Maybe too much. Except certain reviewers, ie pitchfork, or the 2 hours ban guy, but then they get a lot of hate from fanbase for saying their opinion.

Never listened to him in my life but maybe hes just the type of person to "jump on a band wagon". Btw, this album will do that to a few lucky souls. Happens every time. They get bigger.
