That was my first thought too really. The drummer isn't adding anything here. My band also needs a new drummer and we were told that a lot after some recent shows. It can be tricky since he's a good friend but when our other guitarist and I have to record the drums for our demo because our drummer can't get it, you know there's a problem.

- bf is leaving for work days for five months, yes I know I'll see him on the weekends but is that enough to keep my mental health good and going
- money issues
- everyone seems rather disconnected when it comes to support system
- doubts, fears, overthinking, guilt and fault cycles

- my father is slowly dying from COPD and I'm having a hard time facing the truth that he won't live forever
- he was in hospital for 4 days and stepmom never thought to call and tell me or my brother.
- mom is depressed and has told my brother and myself she's thought of suicide lately.
- my college football team lost first game.
- no positives to speak of.

A drummer can't get away with being sloppy, while a singer and guitars could. A bassist is somewhere in between, depends on his actual role. A sloppy drummer makes the whole band sound sloppy. Maybe it's hard to find a good enough drummer?
