Exactly! It's not about hoping or waiting for it to leak - but seeing copies in the wild, that when the reality sets in that we are VERY CLOSE to hearing a new Deftones album!

We are now entering that final ultra-hype phase.

I ordered the jacket combo w/ vinyl, a separate green vinyl variant, AND a cd. Not to mention the shirts and hoodie I bought earlier this year at the concert, on top of the countless other Deftones vinyls and merch I've collected over the years. They've got my money lol

Oh yeah I've spent hundreds of dollars on them since like around "99. I have every every album on vinyl in multiple variants, signed posters, shirts ect

I wish they could release Smile and Melanie if studio versions of both songs exist.

Melanie is one hell of a song and smile is a banger.

The only version of Smile IS the studio version.

I know, but it needs polishing (mix and mastering).

For me this song is on par with Change when it comes to Deftones' mainstream hit.
I can't believe they are sleeping on this beauty.

Yeah Smile is incredible. I remember hearing it when Chino put it out on Chi's birthday just to have Warner bros take it down. It completely consumed me and I played it nonstop for a week. It has the same kind of atmosphere as Cherry Waves and Entombed. I really hope we get a mastered official release of it one day.

Just think to yourself that the album is going to be the biggest disappointment of your life, and you really want to push back this painful experience the furthest possible but at one point you'll have to deal with it. Time will go faster.
