What do you see? Is it because Ecyysis is highlighted in bold on the result from deftones.com webpage? That is really odd, but kind of a neat way of finding out. I wonder if it is intentional.

What's a single from Deftones that you didn't like at first and then got better with time?

For me it's Hexagram. I remember buying the cd on release day and just wasn't vibing with Hex. It grew on me within a week. Now it's like top 5 favorite songs. But initially I just wasn't vibing with it at all for some reason.

Same, Hex was jarring on first listen (first thing I heard from the leaked stuff) I think it was the rough edit but even the album version to me sounded so rough and unpolished compared to WP. I vibed with it like a motherfucker though when I saw them play it live in 2003.

Really wish we could still hear what was leaked from back then. All I have is a 30 second clips of needles and pins

Absolutely! I've literally told multiple people "listen to this song, it sounds like happy and sober Deftones!" (Steph doesn't count, his natural state is being high as a kite lol)
