Should be getting write ups soon i'd say if they're letting record stores hear it early, no doubt music journalists have heard it as well. Maybe tomorrow or next friday?

So incredibly annoying that that was in New Orleans, only a couple hours from where I live. Ugh..

There's a couple impressions in the comments. Saying it's an incredible album and frustrated they only got to listen to it once. Couple others also saying it's really good.

the "deftones inspired" bands don't even have the iconic deftones recipe for a deftones sound. they all sound like shoegaze slop with distorted guitars at max so i highly doubt deftones will take this route lmao. either way, i have high hopes for this album and i just have this feeling it will sound really good

Don't particularly like Ian Cohen but he was spot on when he described the current moaning-over-shoegaze-guitars thing as 'Swagless Chino'.

There's a reason Deftones are Deftones and all those other bands aren't. You have nothing to worry about.

I've never really ordered CDs from online sellers or local shops or anything. But this time around I'm ordering like four or five CDs from different retailers and record stores in the hopes that maybe even one will arrive a little bit early LOL. I know that's highly unlikely but hey, worst thing that happens is I have a few copies to give away
