The Fall of Troy signed to Equal Vision Records. Good deal.

QuoteBIG NEWS!

If you don't know by now, we are officially part of the Equal Vision Records family. We are VERY excited to be part of such a respected and loyal record label. We will be hitting the studio after our show this Saturday night for a month with producer Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, The Melvins), recording 10-12 songs for a new full-length due out in the summertime. This will all be followed by a west coast tour in April, the tentative dates are as follows...

All shows w/ The Clarity Process...

Olympia
Seattle
Boise
Salt Lake City
Phoenix
LA
Anaheim
San Diego
Bakersfield
San Fransisco
Portland

We will also have a slough of new merch by the tour, which will also be availiable right here on the website.

Thank you all so much for your support, without you none of this could be possible. We are so thankful to any of you that have ever listened to our records, bought our merch, watched us play, let us sleep on your floor, fed us, or anything else in the last 2 years. So much love and wish us luck!

you need some more rock 'n roll in your life.  i suggest these arms are snakes as the perfect antidote my love.

ragdoll

antidote? hell no...i'm not trying to cure my pathetic emo-loser-ishness.
i don't know really...i already listen to more rock and roll stuff, but i havent really been in the mood lately.

ben

I suggest any of these bands.  They are my favorites right now.

INDIE:

Broken Social Scene
KC Accidental (same guys that are in BSS)
Minus the Bear (ex-members from Botch)
Mewithoutyou (Guy sings on Norma Jean's "Memphis"...not hardcore at all though haha)
Circa Survive (Ex-saosin singer, dredg and codeseven influences)
All-Time Quarterback (Acoustic, sounds like they're in a cave...awesome)
Codeseven (Great soft music)
Bright Eyes
The Postal Service
12 Rods (RIP...their music is great but rare)

POST PUNK/HARDCORE:

These Arms Are Snakes (Oxeneers is an ingenious album)
The Fall of Troy (Awesome guitarwork, great banddd)
HORSE the band (nothing else to say except keyboard and crazy mother fuckers)
Bear Vs. Shark (Kinda like ATDI...just really good)
Fear Before the March of Flames (Odd How We Shake=fucking great)
After School Knife Fight (I haven't heard much besides a 5 song EP..but they are oldschool awesome in-a-cave-production roxor)
Saosin (new album coming out soon)
Anatomy of a Ghost (Coming out with a new album too...Evanesce is ace)

Yea check this out foos.

onlythclouds

im listening to the new codeseven now. i highly reccomend this album. brilliant

other bands to check out
bedroom heroes
calla
a whisper in the noise
the cooper temple clause ( trippy alt rock band. listen to the album "kick up the fire and let the flames break loose")

the first three are all pretty chill, more atmospheric type music

Hey, I listen to everything, not just emo, but I gotta tell you, Ive got that new These Arms Are Snakes record and I'm very unimpressed. I mean, his voice is so bland and it's blocked out by the instruments. I think it's a horrible cd.

Opinions opinions  :D

ragdoll

i still cant stop listening to ambulance ltd. this is starting to get annoying.
