Still no links to private music TV? If anyone has it, it will never bring any monetary gain to you. Throw it out there if you have it. I would genuinely appreciate it and let you know that in return it's as much as I can give. Share the band share the wealth.

Quote from: DefFsho on Aug 24, 2025, 03:31 AMHoly shit! You dig the record? And I think you might be the only person in the know that I know of that rates it that high? I really do think it has the potential of being top-tier with time. Right now it's the only piece of music I'm even listening to outside of some old M83 stuff I haven't heard or haven't heard in a while and some MGMT stuff that my daughter who is young is starting to get into and I'm remembering how much I loved that years ago. Electronic music seems to be the thing in my life around me with others. Nothing new to me, but it has been brought back to me ... also cool that they brought in a lot of electronics in this record I guess more so than usual? Not a musician. But this new record is something else I don't even know what to say. I just remember you back in the day being hard to please and I don't mean that to be a dick. It's actually refreshing and great to hear that you like the record! Fuck, yeah and cheers. Are you still trying to piss the shit off of the porcelain? Always liked that
I love M83, especially Before The Dawn Heals Us and Saturdays=Youth. I actually think I first discovered them way back when from Chino name dropping them in an interview around the Diamond Eyes/Koi No Yokan era

Hell, yeah fucking awesome. My 11-year-old daughter....I heard a sound from her room and went in there and low and behold she was listening to them via someone else and we've been Vibing the last few days through her 11th birthday. My what a magical musical week it has been. I don't even know what to think when I go back to work tomorrow and have no control over what is going on, but I shouldn't have control because it's art right? These fucktard's all over the place comparing the new record to Koi and diamond eyes drives me nuts. Was I that way at some point? Oh my God please tell me no lol

Sure! And I can totally promise you that I will share anything to you sent to me because I've been asking now a lot. Sometimes you get some snobs that think they have something that is actually going to generate money overtime, but they don't realize that's not going to happen. It's pretty funny actually. But I would definitely appreciate that and return the favor if the opportunity comes. And I did see the live concert, which was phenomenal. It would be a crime to starve any real fans from that via the band. But all the rest of the shit that sounds like a broken up documentary in different forms and channels seems like something somebody has to capture either as a group or released later from the label or band for all of us to enjoy. I'm hoping that's the case. I'm so old that I have more to worry about than chasing down band shit but their music means so much to me and has for so many decades that it would be sad and a missed opportunity for someone like me to not see everything they showed the other night. How many people seen that that could give a fuck less? It's crazy. I only ask for so much in life and I love everybody and everything in it and if I don't, I kill it.

I sent both you guys a dm with links with all 3 channels + the live performance. You guys can thank @adigital for the original files. He sent me the link and I just uploaded to this link bc its easier to download (higher daily download limit). Audio is kinda weird tho.

Sunbath

I'd be interested in privatemusic.tv files also 🙏

Great record! Reminds me of SNW with the experimentation which is perfect since SNW is the dearest to me being THE record that got me into the band (after falling in love with Team Sleep record).

At the moment cXz is the earworm that I find myself humming.

people are comparing it to koi and diamond because the band members mentioned a few times in interviews that they always saw the two albums as an incomplete trilogy and wanted to finally complete it with nick. like sunbath said, it also reminds me of SNW.
i hope she comes

ITAYATT sounds like Coldplay covering Riveré.

I wish the band released EPs with 4 tracks every 18 months instead of having to wait 5 years between each album.

Good evening... and welcome to the white pony

I might be alone in this, but... what is the fun in that? I know 5 years is a long time, but I kinda like the build up (maybe a compromise, halfway? lol). Ofc, sometimes it leads to disappointment, but when it doesnt, its awesome. No?

RikshawHoward

I'll take a couple B-sides and a cover in a year.

DefFsho

So what does "future heavy" mean to y'all? Now that the record and rollout is here.

E-Money

The record keeps getting better and better for me! I'm hearing new little things with each listen You can really tell that they took their time with this one and thought it through. I feel like each member really delivers a top tier performance.

I also think the record really flows nicely. Right now I'm loving the transition into metal dream and then into departing the body.

Less Chugga chugg this time which I love! The guitar sounds fresh and epic!

DefFsho

great record. I am 100% satisfied. Anyone here catch when Stef says the 90s recording sounds and feels like the days of video recording? (In the pm music tv channel) lmfao!!! that dude is smoked the fuck out. Like permanently maybe. Of course it feels that way dog!!! Lmao

nathan.

This is a 9.5/10. People will hate, but I think people hold WP, KNY and DE in a different light. I think there are more songs I would skip on KNY and Diamond Eyes than this album. It is experimental, a perfect mix between radio friendly, and a heavily layered deep album with a lot to listen to. It does this at times in the SAME SONG! You could listen to it once and not hear the whole thing, does that make sense? What an awesome album from them 25 years on from White Pony. Chino sounds great as always, and I fantasize about him being able to sing like he used to on this album. It would be their best work. Don't agree? Don't care. I LOVE IT!!!

I remember a few months back, people were swearing to have reliable info that the album would come out on November the earliest... and we were hoping for a first single being played on this current North American Tour.

Others were anticipating DDLD to be the place for album announcement for an 2026 release.

I can't believe it's August 25th and the album has been out for a whole week now.
Good evening... and welcome to the white pony

Ok about 10 listens in and it is clicking.

This could totally be an age thing but does anyone find this and Ohms are better at a medium volume? I love listening to them loud but I find these albums are too loud to crank
